Well that’s some bullshit. You want to name a building after your company? Then you BUILD the building. Once it’s been called something for 30+ years, that’s what it will continue to be called, sorry.

For a bit of Chicago historical precedence; people still call the Aon Center the Standard Oil Building, and US Cellular Field is still called Comiskey Park (though that’s probably because US Cellular Field is just a stupid ass name).

That’s like if you were to rename teenage orphans that you adopted.
